Andrew Crawford BSc (Hons), FRICS, FCIArb, MSc, PG Dip Adj has more than 30 years of experience working within the construction industry and in the field of construction law has been engaged in supporting the resolutions of over 60 construction and infrastructure disputes in the last twenty years.
With a deep understanding of construction law and a proven track record in complex adjudication and litigation support, Andrew brings strategic clarity to high-stakes situations.
His work spans the full lifecycle of dispute resolution — from compiling claims and counterclaims to preparing referral notices, drafting position papers, and providing written and oral representation in adjudications. He routinely supports solicitors and barristers through to enforcement proceedings in the High Court.
Andrew provides specialist advise on delay notices, extensions of time, loss and/or expense claims and other monetary claims, and works outside of the contract scope — ensuring rigorous contract administration and helping safeguard commercial outcomes. His work has also included reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contractual documents including developer agreements, bonds, warranties, indemnities, JV contracts, and consultancy terms. His expertise covers all major forms of contract, including JCT, NEC, IChemE, FIDIC, and bespoke agreements.
With experience representing employers, contractors, and subcontractors, he understands the root causes of disputes and how to avoid them, insights that Feat Factory builds into every engagement. His proactive approach to risk management is instrumental in heading off issues before they escalate.
He is also passionate about capability-building and delivers practical training to clients and partners on effective contract administration, dispute avoidance, and entitlement protection.
