Neil Doherty BSc (Hons), MCIOB, MAPM, is a highly experienced Development and Project Director with over 25 years’ expertise delivering complex schemes across the commercial, residential, data, and hospitality sectors.

Neil began his career at Laing O’Rourke, playing a pivotal role in delivering landmark projects such as Birmingham’s iconic Selfridges store. With a reputation for foresight and executional rigour, Neil progressed to become Pre-Construction Director at a self-delivering developer, where he led the evaluation of land and property opportunities—conducting detailed site feasibility, risk analysis, and development appraisals to shape commercially viable and deliverable schemes.

In this role and beyond, Neil has demonstrated end-to-end leadership across the full development lifecycle. As Development and Project Director, Neil has led the delivery of major schemes, aligning planning, design, and construction with business objectives. He is adept at managing consultants, contractors, and internal teams to maintain momentum and deliver measurable outcomes.

Neil also works closely with institutional and private investors, ensuring robust reporting, risk mitigation, and commercial alignment throughout the project lifecycle. A natural collaborator and communicator, he is passionate about creating high-performing project environments and empowering teams to exceed expectations.
