Project
99 Bishopsgate
Location
City of London, London
Client
Brookfield
Andrew and his team, during his leadership at a previous consultancy, successfully delivered multiple refurbishment projects within the 99 Bishopsgate Building, including the top floor of Brookfield’s UK Headquarters at the time.
Each project involved the full strip-out of approximately 118,403 sq ft of a previous tenant’s Category B fit-out, returning the space to the landlord’s shell and core condition. This was followed by the delivery of a high-specification Category A fit-out, including office space and washrooms, intended for marketing to prospective tenants.
In their role as Project Managers and Contract Administrators, Andrew and his team managed the fast-paced project lifecycle including appointment and management of the design team and engagement of contractors. The team would recommend separate strip-out works from the main contract. This approach enabled an earlier start on-site while the design for the main fit-out was still being finalised. This decision provided both commercial benefits and programme efficiencies, achieving time savings of approximately 20%.
