Location

Ballymore
Brentford Waterside, developed by Ballymore, is a transformative mixed-use scheme revitalising Brentford’s town centre in West London. Spanning 11.8 acres, the masterplan reconnects the High Street with the River Thames to create a vibrant, integrated riverside neighbourhood. Designed by leading architects including AHMM and Howells, the development comprises 876 new homes, 150,695 sq ft of retail and leisure space, and significantly enhanced public access to the waterfront.
Key features include landscaped public spaces, reinstated historic lanes, and cultural amenities such as the repurposed Grade II* listed St Lawrence’s Church.
Working to a demanding programme, Andrew led a small team in discharging multiple pre-commencement conditions across three separate planning permissions. This involved the preparation and approval of two distinct Construction Environmental Management Plans and Construction Logistics Plans with the Local Authority. The team also managed the tendering, asbestos removal, and demolition of three buildings, oversaw the installation of a new bridge, initiated utility infrastructure, and coordinated enabling works to listed buildings. These actions enabled an efficient and compliant start on site, safeguarding the planning consents and maintaining project momentum at a critical early stage.
