Spitalfields Works is a distinctive mixed-use development located between Commercial Street and Toynbee Street in Tower Hamlets. Just moments from Spitalfields Market and the City of London, this residential-led scheme blends heritage with contemporary design to deliver a unique collection of homes and commercial spaces.

The development comprises 23 apartments and 3 townhouses — including 5 affordable units — as well as a modern workspace hub totalling approximately 8,338 sq ft and a dedicated Wellness Studio of around 4,000 sq ft.

Andrew Link, Andrew Crawford and Nick Bentley supported Our Place in the successful delivery of this project at thier past consultancy. Brought in to replace a previous project management firm, the team took over a challenging brief with several unresolved issues at the point of site commencement. These included contractual complexities, incomplete design coordination, and the management of intricate third-party rights and sensitive legal negotiations.

Despite these early challenges, the team provided consistent, solutions-focused support throughout the process — ultimately enabling Our Place to deliver a high-quality scheme they were proud to bring to market.
